Re:Grounded Retreat Agreement & Terms

Italy Retreat — Oliveto Estate, Le Marche
April 24 – May 1, 2027

  1. PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICIES

A non-refundable 30% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your place in the Retreat.

The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than December 1, 2026.

Failure to complete payment by the stated deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation at Re:Grounded’s sole discretion, with all payments forfeited.

Because retreat arrangements require advance financial commitments, including accommodations, staffing, and vendor services, all payments are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. No exceptions will be made for any reason, including but not limited to personal circumstances, medical issues, travel disruptions, or changes in availability.

Cancellations at any time after booking are therefore 100% non-refundable.

No refunds will be issued for partial attendance, unused portions of the Retreat, or voluntary early departure.

Reservations may not be transferred to another individual without prior written approval from Re:Grounded.

If Re:Grounded cancels the Retreat, all payments made directly to Re:Grounded will be refunded. Re:Grounded is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred by participants, including but not limited to airfare, travel arrangements, insurance, or other personal costs.

Because retreat experiences involve reservations for accommodations, staffing, and local services, individual cancellations affect the entire group experience. For this reason, Re:Grounded strongly recommends that all participants purchase travel insurance that includes trip cancellation and interruption coverage.

CURRENCY & PAYMENT PROCESSING

Retreat pricing is displayed in the currency corresponding to the user’s location for convenience.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Depending on the payment method and card issuer, transactions may be processed in a different currency than displayed.

Where currency conversion applies, it is determined by the payment provider or issuing bank at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of transaction.

Re:Grounded is not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations, foreign transaction fees, or discrepancies resulting from currency conversion.

The final amount charged may vary slightly from the displayed amount due to currency conversion and processing conditions.

CREDIT CARD PROCESSING FEES

Payments made by credit or debit card are subject to a processing fee based on the card’s issuing country, which is added at checkout.

Typical fees:

  • ~2.99% for U.S.-issued cards
  • Up to ~5.49% for internationally issued cards

Fees may vary depending on the card issuer and payment processor.

Guests may avoid these fees by selecting bank transfer where available.

BANK TRANSFER PAYMENTS

Guests choosing to pay by bank transfer must ensure that the full U.S. dollar (USD) amount shown on the invoice is received by Re:Grounded.

Payments must match the USD amount invoiced, regardless of the currency displayed on the website.

Wire transfers must be sent in USD unless otherwise specified.

Any bank fees, intermediary charges, or currency conversion differences are the responsibility of the guest.

Re:Grounded reserves the right to request payment of any material shortfall prior to confirming a booking.

  1. MINIMUM PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT

This retreat requires a minimum number of participants to operate.

If the minimum is not reached, Re:Grounded reserves the right to cancel the Retreat. In such cases, all payments made directly to Re:Grounded will be fully refunded. Re:Grounded is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred by participants.

  1. RETREAT PRICE INCLUDES
  • 7 nights’ accommodations at Oliveto Estate, Le Marche, Italy
  • Daily Pilates, Yoga, and movement sessions
  • Daily breakfast and select group dinners featuring regional cuisine
  • Curated retreat programming and group experiences
  • Access to estate amenities (pool, gardens, spa, and common spaces)
  • Retreat coordination and concierge-level support
  • All local taxes and gratuities
  1. RETREAT PRICE EXCLUDES
  • Airfare and transportation to/from Italy
  • Airport transfers
  • Travel insurance
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Meals not specified in the retreat schedule
  • Spa or wellness services booked independently
  • Personal purchases or retail items
  • Optional excursions and experiences
  • Travel before or after the retreat

Optional experiences (including vineyard visits, guided hikes, e-bike rides, and truffle hunting) may be offered during the retreat and are priced separately.

  1. PARTICIPANT WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

Participation in retreat activities carries inherent risks.

By attending, participants voluntarily assume all risks and release Re:Grounded, Robin Krasner, retreat instructors, staff, and affiliated personnel from liability for injuries, illness, delays, losses, or damages occurring before, during, or after the Retreat.

  1. HEALTH & MEDICAL RESPONSIBILITY

Participants are responsible for determining that they are physically and medically able to participate.

All activities are undertaken voluntarily and at the participant’s own risk.

Participants assume full responsibility for any injuries, illness, or health-related issues that may arise.

  1. OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS & THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Optional experiences may be offered through independent providers.

Re:Grounded acts solely as a facilitator and is not responsible for third-party services.

Participation is voluntary.

  1. INSTRUCTOR & PROGRAM CHANGES

Re:Grounded reserves the right to substitute instructors or adjust programming as needed.

Such changes do not constitute grounds for refund.

  1. PROGRAM ADJUSTMENTS

Schedules and activities may be modified due to weather, availability, or logistics.

These changes are considered part of the retreat experience and do not warrant refunds.

  1. FORCE MAJEURE

Re:Grounded is not liable for events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, travel disruptions, or government restrictions.

  1. ACCOMMODATION & VENUE CHANGES

If necessary, Re:Grounded may substitute accommodations with a comparable standard.

  1. PARTICIPANT CONDUCT

Participants may be removed without refund for disruptive or unsafe behavior.

  1. PHOTO RELEASE

Participants grant permission for photography and video use for promotional purposes.

  1. TRAVEL RESPONSIBILITY

Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements and documentation.

  1. LATE ARRIVAL & MISSED SERVICES

No refunds or credits will be issued for missed portions of the Retreat.

  1. PAYMENT DISPUTES & CHARGEBACKS

Participants agree not to initiate chargebacks in violation of these Terms.

  1. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York.
